Mauni Amavasya Gau Seva Campaign — Feed & Treat with Gauchikitsa A sacred day to transform compassion into action
Mauni Amavasya is a spiritually powerful day, known for silence, prayer, and acts of daan that bring inner peace. On this sacred occasion, Gauchikitsa is dedicating its service to the gentle lives that support our culture every day—our beloved Gau Mata. Many cows on the streets and in shelters suffer silently: hunger, weakness, injuries, infections, and seasonal illness. Some are abandoned, some are old, and many are simply unnoticed. This campaign is our heartfelt effort to ensure that no cow is left without food, timely treatment, and healing care.
Through this drive, our team will provide fresh fodder, nutritious feed, clean water arrangements, and essential medical support where it is needed most. Your support becomes direct help—every contribution turns into feed bags, medicine, bandages, veterinary checkups, and recovery support. When compassion becomes collective, it creates real change. This Mauni Amavasya, let us choose seva that saves lives.
Why this campaign matters
- Hunger is daily: Many cows do not get consistent fodder, especially during festival rush or harsh weather changes.
- Injuries need fast care: Small wounds can quickly become painful infections without cleaning, dressing, and medicines.
- Silent suffering: Weak, old, or abandoned cows often stay unnoticed until their condition becomes serious.
- Seva is protection: Proper feeding and treatment reduces stress, supports immunity, and improves survival and recovery.
What Gauchikitsa will do on Mauni Amavasya
Our volunteers and veterinary support team will identify cows that require immediate help and provide assistance in a structured way. The day’s seva includes fodder distribution, nutritious feed support, and on-ground medical care. Wherever needed, we will coordinate follow-up care after Mauni Amavasya as well, so treatment does not stop at first aid. With your support, we can reach more locations, treat more injured cows, and ensure healthier recovery for those suffering.
Feeding Support
Green fodder, dry fodder, and balanced feed support to strengthen weak cows and help them regain energy. Clean water arrangements will be ensured wherever possible.
Treatment & Care
First-aid, wound dressing, basic medicines, pain relief (as advised), and veterinary checkups for injured and unwell cows. Serious cases will be guided for further medical support.
How your contribution helps
When you donate, you are not donating “money”—you are giving meals, medicine, and healing. Your support helps us arrange feed packets, transport, medical supplies, and the essential care that turns suffering into relief. Even a small contribution plays a meaningful role because seva works best when many hands come together.
Join the seva — Donate • Volunteer • Share
If you cannot donate, you can still support the cause by volunteering for distribution, helping in arranging supplies, or simply sharing this campaign so it reaches more compassionate hearts. Mauni Amavasya is a reminder that the purest worship is kindness toward those who cannot ask for help.
Let us take a sankalp today: Feed with love, treat with care, and protect with devotion. May your Mauni Amavasya be filled with blessings, peace, and the joy of seva.
