During the holy month of Sawan, thousands of devotees carry sacred water in Kawads and walk long distances with devotion towards Lord Shiva. Every step of their journey reflects faith, sacrifice and surrender. Nandi, the devoted companion and vehicle of Lord Shiva, also holds a special place in this sacred tradition. Serving a helpless Nandi during the Kawad season is a meaningful way to express compassion and devotion.

Sadly, many Nandis living on roads face hunger, accidents, untreated wounds, weakness and lack of shelter. Some struggle to walk due to injuries, while others suffer silently because timely medical care is unavailable. Medical Treatment for Injured and Sick Nandis

Our team rescues Nandis suffering from road accidents, infections, deep wounds, fractures, weakness and other medical conditions. After rescue, every Nandi is carefully examined and provided with treatment according to its condition. The support may include wound cleaning, medicines, injections, bandaging, veterinary consultation, nutritious food and regular monitoring.

Treatment does not end after one visit. Injured animals often require continuous care, dressing changes, medicines and a safe place to recover. Our caregivers remain dedicated throughout the healing process, ensuring that every rescued Nandi receives patience, kindness and proper attention.

Food, Clean Water and Safe Recovery
