Save and Serve Monkeys: Treatment and Daily Feeding Support
Monkeys are one of the most visible yet most neglected animals around our temples, ghats, streets, and forest-edge areas. Many survive on unsafe leftovers, plastic-wrapped food, or contaminated water. Along with hunger, they face frequent injuries from road accidents, falls from electric wires, dog attacks, and fights within groups. In winter and summer extremes, weak and sick monkeys suffer even more. Through GauChikitsa Organisation, we are running a compassionate campaign focused on medical treatment and daily feeding for monkeys who are injured, sick, or unable to forage safely.
Why Your Support Is Needed
Every day, our team receives cases of monkeys with deep wounds, fractures, infections, skin diseases, dehydration, and weakness due to malnutrition. Many are scared, in pain, and unable to approach people. Timely treatment can save lives, prevent permanent disability, and reduce suffering. Feeding is equally important—when monkeys are hungry, they are forced to enter busy roads and crowded areas, increasing conflicts and accidents. Your donation helps us create a safer, healthier life for them through responsible, organised seva.
What We Do in This Campaign
- Emergency Treatment: first-aid support, wound cleaning, bandaging, and urgent care for injured monkeys.
- Veterinary Care: medicines, antibiotics, pain relief, IV fluids, and follow-up treatment for infections and weakness.
- Rescue and Safe Handling: careful assistance for distressed monkeys in risky areas, reducing further harm.
- Daily Feeding Support: providing safe, nutritious feed in designated spots to reduce hunger and risky roaming.
- Compassion with Responsibility: feeding in a controlled way to protect both animals and the public.
Your Donation Directly Supports
Rescue support, veterinary consultation, medicines, antiseptics, bandages, nutritional feed, hydration supplies, and ongoing care for weak and injured monkeys. Even a small contribution can sponsor a day of feeding or help cover treatment essentials for a critical case.
When You Donate, You Give More Than Food
You give relief from pain, a chance to recover, and the strength to return to normal life. You also support a kinder environment— fewer accidents, less distress, and more humane coexistence. This is seva that protects life with dignity. Together, we can ensure that monkeys are not left to suffer silently in public spaces.
