Gau Chikitsa Organization brings a compassion-led campaign dedicated to Gau Mata Seva—focused on providing chara (green fodder), dry fodder, clean water, and timely treatment support for cows that are hungry, weak, sick, or abandoned. Every day, many Gaumata wander near roads, garbage points, and open fields searching for food. Some are undernourished, some are dehydrated, and some silently suffer due to untreated injuries or illness. This drive is a humble effort to restore dignity, health, and safety—because Gau Mata is not just an animal; she is a symbol of nourishment, compassion, and dharma.

Why This Seva Matters

When a cow is hungry, her body weakens quickly. When she is untreated, pain becomes her daily reality. In many places, stray or abandoned cows face a harsh cycle—limited fodder, unsafe roaming, and delayed medical help. Through this campaign, we aim to reduce suffering by ensuring essential care reaches Gaumata on time. A bundle of fodder can prevent starvation. Campaign Purpose

The purpose of this Gau Mata Seva drive is to provide immediate nutrition support and basic-to-urgent medical aid for needy cows in our identified areas. We prioritize cows that are visibly weak, sick, injured, lactating, or left without caregivers. This is a dignity-first campaign—our goal is not only to feed and treat, but also to ensure Gaumata receives care with respect, gentleness, and proper handling.

What This Gau Seva Drive Includes

🌿 Chara & Fodder Support
Distribution of fresh green fodder (chara) and dry fodder (bhusa/grass as available) for cows in high-need zones. The focus is on clean, safe feed that supports digestion and improves strength. We also encourage mindful feeding—placing fodder at safer points away from traffic and garbage.

💧 Clean Water & Basic Care
In many seasons, dehydration becomes a hidden danger. This drive supports water arrangements where needed and promotes basic care practices such as gentle cleaning, observation for infection, and guiding cows to safer resting spots whenever possible.

🩺 Treatment & Medical Support
On-ground medical support includes basic check-ups, first-aid, dressing, and support for common conditions (weakness, infection signs, fever-like symptoms, wounds, and mobility issues). When required, we coordinate for advanced treatment through veterinary guidance—because early care often prevents bigger complications.

📦 Procurement, Transport & Coordination
Behind every seva drive is careful planning—procurement of fodder, arranging transport, sorting supplies, and managing distribution routes. Volunteers coordinate calmly to ensure fairness, safety, and a respectful process. We also maintain basic tracking so support reaches the right places consistently.
