Treating Thousands of Injured Cows

Let’s Save Sick and Injured Cows by Providing Lifesaving Treatment

Our goal is to save cows that have been involved in accidents or are severely ill by ensuring they receive the medical attention they need.

Krishnagarh Gau Chikitsa Samiti is dedicated to the welfare and medical treatment of cows and other livestock.
Established in January 2015, our organization has grown to serve the city of Kishangarh and around 300 nearby
villages, providing life-saving treatment to thousands of injured and sick cows. Our efforts extend to wildlife
and other domesticated animals, ensuring that all creatures receive the care they deserve. Our dedicated team of
veterinarians, compounders, assistants and volunteers work round the clock to save lives and promote animal
welfare.

Our cow hospital is always operational at full capacity, treating 200-250 cows per day with a dedicated team
comprising a veterinarian, 10 animal compounders (LSAs), 10 assistants, 2 ambulance assistants and 4 bike
ambulance assistants. Our 30-member team is available 24/7 to provide uninterrupted care.

On receipt of a helpline call, we dispatch a hydraulic ambulance or bike ambulance with an LSA to the reported
location for immediate first aid, minimizing inconvenience and risk during transportation.

We have served 35,000+ cows in total since our inception.

Each cow is given a token number on arrival, ensuring a detailed record of their treatment. Depending on the
condition, treatment includes IV drips, plaster casts for broken bones, daily care such as diet, dressings, and
repositioning to prevent bedsores, and physiotherapy on special machines for recovery.

Compassion in Action, Healing for All

For severe wounds, we perform surgery to prevent gangrene and remove damaged limbs if necessary. Nature’s
resilience allows cow dynasty to adapt even on three legs. We try to install prosthetics whenever possible.
Through our community outreach efforts, we run awareness campaigns and educational programs to promote animal
welfare and prevent cruelty. Our goal is to create a compassionate community where animals are treated with
respect and kindness. By providing rescue operations, medical treatment, shelter, training and community
outreach, we strive to make a significant difference in the lives of animals and the wider community.

Krishnagarh Gau Chikitsa Samiti was established in January 2015 with the aim to provide timely and proper medical
services to injured cow mother in Kishangarh city and 300 surrounding villages. For the last 9 years, we have
distributed thousands of stickers and promoted our helpline numbers, 9829272108 , 9829270108 on social media to
ensure immediate reporting of accidents for timely medical assistance.

Since our inception, we have treated 24,500 sick and injured cows by bringing them to hospitals through
ambulances. For cows found in critical conditions, we provide treatment on the spot and drop them to their
designated locations after treatment. Our City Bike Ambulance service always try to provide immediate treatment
to cows found in critical conditions with all the resources that are available. So far, City Bike Ambulance has
provided first aid to 9,500 cows.

Our first aid efforts have benefited 9,500 cows, ensuring that resources are available for animals in critical
condition. This brings the total number of cows we have served to 35,000.

During the lumpy skin disease epidemic, our team worked tirelessly for two months in the Kanji House operated by
the Kishangarh Municipal Council, providing medical care and food for affected cows. Our efforts were recognized
and appreciated by the District Collector and the SDM of Kishangarh.
