Founded in 2015, Krishangarh Gau Chikitsa Samiti (KGCS) has been a sanctuary for sick, injured, and abandoned cows. Our hospital-cum-shelter, located in Madnesh Goshala, Kishangarh, operates 24/7, rescuing and rehabilitating cows in need. We have treated over 18,000 cows since our inception, providing them with comprehensive medical care.
In addition to treating injured cows, KGCS serves as a training center for veterinary students and animal handlers, equipping them with the latest knowledge and skills. This ensures the next generation of veterinarians is prepared to care for cows and other animals with compassion and expertise.
At KGCS, our medical care for cows includes daily treatment for over 100 animals through our busy Outpatient Department (OPD). Here, our team of dedicated veterinarians provides medical, diagnostic, and surgical care for a wide range of conditions. For cases involving bone fractures or suspected internal injuries, an X-ray machine would drastically improve the precision and speed of our treatments.
Currently, without an X-ray machine, diagnosing fractures or internal injuries becomes challenging, leading to delayed care or incomplete treatment. With this new equipment, our ability to provide accurate and timely care will be significantly enhanced, saving more lives in the process.
